#WOD – Fri 20th Nov


So, today’s session was new.  We’re mixing it up a bit before Christmas… We performed this session using kettlebells (various sizes between 4kg and 6kg) but it’s really designed for a medicine ball if you have one.

3 sets of 40 sec effort with 20 sec recovery, 1 min rest in between each set of

Overhead Squat – Lift weight overhead first and then bring it down and use momentum to take you into the squat

Forward Lunge into knee lift – Holding kettlebell  in hand on the same side as the lunging leg

Side Lunge – Pushing weight forwards simultaneously

Side Lunge – Pushing weight uowards simultaneously

Russian Twist

Trunk Hip Rotations – With kettlebell between knees, feet off the floor

Crunches – With kettlebell between knees, feet off the floor


Followed by 2 sets of 6 deadlift.
